I’m a songwriter, music teacher (guitar and singing) and producer.
I can’t really tell when or where my love for music started but when
I was 14 I took my mum’s old classical guitar that had been left in a
corner for ages, and decided to learn how to play it.
That was it, I was hooked and I kept on playing and studying until I was 17, when
I wrote my first song.
Songwriting was a real revelation. I felt like I needed to be the best possible singer I could be in order to deliver mymusic in an honest way, so for the next five years I studied singing with three different teachers.
During this time, I also got involved in guitar and harmony studies with the help of some orchestra conductors.
When I was 25, I got my grade 8 in singing and guitar from the Lotus
Academy in Rome, where I became the music director two years later.
I have extensive experience as a live performer with bands, solo acts,
as a singer and as a guitarist.
I produced my own album, La fotografia, in
Italy in 2006 and I have also performed in the U.S.A. and Europe. I’m
currently recording my new album due for release at the end of this year.
Recently, I’ve been working as a sound engineer at the Royal Albert Hall,
an amazing experience and a true insight into this iconic venue.
I’ve been teaching for 15+ years and it has never been just a job for me, I see it as a way to inspire people of every age to use music to fully express themselves and I
love to be able to help people achieve this for themselves.
