FlownBlue is the solo performing name of John Hinks, based in Leicester UK. My music is freely improvised, usually on fretless bass, sometimes guitar and other instruments, sometimes electronics. I'm also a member of two improvising duos: Windfall Light (with Jim Tetlow) and Abstract Blue (with Kevin Buckland), and I play with Quadelectronic, an informal improvising group meeting monthly in Leicester, UK.
